There are many changes taking place in the tax law. Some of the changes will impact many people. The Summer 2010 newsletter I recently mailed out to existing clients touched on the recent legislation. Two laws, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 includes sweeping changes for businesses and individuals. Another law signed March 18, 2010 is the Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act. This act includes temporary tax breaks for hiring certain workers. Information regarding these laws are no doubt still being digested. Please call if you want to discuss the possible impact to you or your business. Some research may be required at the current time.
On the home page of this website you saw a link "Weekly Tax Tips." Please let me know if you find the weekly information useful since it is being provided on a trial subscription.
